For those unfamiliar withDandadan, the original manga was only released back in 2021. Yukinobu Tatsu is the genius behind this hilarious blend of horror, romance and action. The story follows Momo Ayase, a confident high school girl, and Ken Takakura, an introverted boy with a fascination for the paranormal.
Momo defended Ken from bullies and ever since they slowly built a relationship. As the plot progresses, they face off against spirits and monsters, while maintaining a comedic tone and developing a romance between the two.

There’s so much more toDandadanthan the flashy, vibrant animation. It has the perfect balance of horror and comedy that isn’t easy to perfect. The characters have a charm of their own and it never gets tiring to watch them.
