That changes this October, asYakuza Kiwamiis officially making its way to theNintendo Switch.

Nintendo announced this exciting news during theNintendo Direct: Partner Showcase.Switch users can finally dive into the beloved Sega title on August 25, 2025.The announcement was accompanied by a trailer, which you can check out above.

Here’s how Nintendo shared the news:

“TheYakuzaseries is coming to Nintendo Switch for the first time on October 24 withYakuza Kiwami! Take the fall for a murder and emerge from prison 10 years later to yakuza clans on the brink of war, propelling you on an intense journey of love, humanity, and betrayal, fueled by your fists and unyielding resolve, all set against a bustling red-light district in modern-day Japan.”

It will be interesting to see how Yakuza Kiwami performs on the Nintendo Switch, and when we can expect more titles from the series to drop on the handheld console.
