We’ve not really seen any images of the Xbox Series X in the wild, except forthat one imagewe saw leaked months ago with the rubbish, abrasive-looking carpet. However, new images have surfaced that show the console locked up in a glass case in Germany.

In Saturn, Germany, at the Xperion die Saturn E-Arena, the event officially opened up to the public on August 17 and is running from Monday of this week through to Saturday. The below image originally fromAll Game Delta, show the Xbox Series X officially in a glass case on the show floor. There are an additional two images of the console at the bottom of this post also that are from All Game Delta as well.

Xbox Series X Germany appearance

There’s obviously not a lot else to look at except how it looks outside of marketing material. Look, it’s like a giant rectangle. I will say, it looks nice to look at, and I’m surprised the green at the top is so prominent. Gotta love green.

The officialFacebook page for the Xperion eventshows a video of the show floor in which you can see numerous big brands, including a section for PlayStation, and a section for Xbox which can be seen around the 37-second mark, and you can see the big glass case and the lonely console. From what I could see in the video, there appears to be no PS5 console on display.

At current, the Xbox Series X is slated to belaunching sometime in November, but the official release date is not yet known. Although it may have beenhinted at in Fortnite’s Joker Bundle announcement. What do you think of the console as seen here? Big and chunky? Smaller than you thought? Pretty? Like a block of blackened cheese? Here are some additional, and closer shots of the blocky thing.
