Xbox fans are hopeful that the hour and half long showcase will feature the likes ofStarfield, Halo, Gears of War, and plenty more. Here are some of the recent leaks, rumours, and our personal predictions for the upcoming Xbox and Bethesda event this Sunday.

Goldeneye 007 Remaster

A remaster of the classic James Bond game,Goldeneye 007, has been rumoured for quite some time. It’s now looking increasingly likely that the title will be revealed during this weekend’s showcase after an achievements list appeared on Xbox’s official website.

The list has since been removed, but fans are hopeful that an announcement is imminent. Especially considering the last James Bond game was released all the way back in 2012.

Unlike the speculatedGoldeneye 007remaster, we know thatArk IIactually exists and is expected to be released later this year.

Studio Wildcard originally revealed the sequel toArk: Survival Evolvedback at The Game Awards in 2020. Microsoft then went on toconfirm thatArk IIwould be a timed Xbox exclusive, making it increasingly likely we’ll be seeing a trailer, and maybe even a release date, this weekend.

With the release of a brand new DLC forArk: Survival Evolveddropping this Sunday, fans speculate that it could be tied into anArk IIannouncement as Studio Wildcard has never released updates on a Sunday before.

Wolfenstein 3

This one’s a bit of a shot in the dark, and although there are no rumours or leaks surroundingWolfenstein 3, it has been 5 years since a mainline entry in the series was released.

Machine Games has also confirmed that they will be appearing at the showcase, with anannouncementsaying “We are so excited for Sunday’s showcase! Hope you all are ready for it”. Although we’re hopeful thatWolfenstein 3makes an appearance, there is another title from Machine Games that many are hoping to see…

Indiana Jones

Of course, that other title by Machine Games isIndiana Jones, which was confirmed back at the beginning of 2021. Although there will likely be some form of update on development, the game is still likely a long way from release.

There haven’t been any leaks to suggest thatIndiana Joneswill be appearing at this Sunday’s event. But if it does, we aren’t expecting a gameplay trailer. Should the title appear, expect a CG trailer and possibly a release window for a couple of years time.

Forza Motorsport

Finally, one of the most likely titles to make an appearance at the Xbox showcase this weekend isForza Motorsport. Industry insiderTom Hendersonrecently took to Twitter to tell fans to expect a Spring 2023 release window for the upcoming racing sim.

Henderson said, “I’m pretty sure we’re getting Horizon 5 hot wheels DLC announcement and our first look at the next Forza Motorsport - Slated for Spring 2023 last I heard”. Considering the title was confirmed back in 2020, it’s highly likely that fans receive a gameplay trailer this weekend.

Don’t miss Xbox and Bethesda’s Showcase this Sunday at 10AM PT / 6PM BST.
