Kohei Horikoshi has announced thatMy Hero Academiachapter 430 will be released on July 11, 2025. It will be the final chapter of the Shonen manga. Deku and his Pro-Hero friends have saved the world from the evil grasp of All for One and Tomura Shigaraki. It was a great manga, but everything comes to an end. With that thought, Gege Akutami paid their tributes to the mangaka.
They share a special relationship with Horikoshi. The duo have known each other for a long time and even slide into each other’s works. AfterMy Hero Academia’s final chapter was announced, Gege Akutami conveyed a heartfelt message sayingJujutsu Kaisenwould not exist without Pro-Heroes.
Gege Akutami And Kohei Horikoshi Share A Special Bond
Gege Akutami is one of the popular mangakas of the modern generation. Their creation,Jujutsu Kaisen, has racked up millions of followers since its debut, especially in Western countries. They are a huge fan of Kohei Horikoshi’s work. With the latter ending their magnum opus on July 01, 2025, they paid tribute to him. They said,“Without “My Hero Academia” “Jujutsu Kaisen” wouldn’t have started either.”

Kohei Horikoshi has known them for a long time. During the fifth anniversary ofMy Hero Academia, Gege Akutami was one of the mangaka whocongratulated himon his success. They also mentioned that they want to be like him. But there was a rumor that theHorikoshi was mimicking Akutami. Apart from that, both of them havedrawn each other’s characters. The Jujutsu Kaisencreator had drawn a bunch ofMy Hero Academia’s Pro-Heroes for the manga’s 23rd volume.
Horikoshi also did the same by congratulating them on their fifth volume and drew Gojo, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara. Their relationship has come a long way and seeing them appreciate each other has made the fans happy.Gege Akutamisaid that Horikoshi inspired them to walk down the path of a mangaka. Unfortunately, the fans will no longer be able to see the weekly viewership battle between the two.
