Atlus and Sega published on September 8 yet another trailer forShin Megami TenseiV, and just like every trailer so far, it’s using English subtitles, with the original Japanese dub. As such, more and more fans are wondering if the next JRPG from Atlus will actually have an English dub.
The newSMT Vtrailer focuses on the protagonist and his symbiotic relationship with Aogami. They form the Nahobino when fused together, with the protagonist commanding Aogami, and Aogami vowing to protect him. The trailer also includes several gameplay sequences, including some battles.

However, the trailer does not feature an English dub. This is particularly weird consdereing today’s Nahobino trailer was specifically made for the English community and fans outside Japan: The Japanese side of Atlus did not publish a new trailer today.
WillShin Megami Tensei Vinclude an English dub version, is it Dual Audio with the Japanese dub?
The answer is yes, there will be an English dub, the thing is, this was confirmed in the first release date estimate trailer for the game. Only in theNintendo UK versionof the trailer. Back whenShin Megami Tensei III Remasterwas revealed. This is why many fans missed it.
It’s also important to noteShin Megami Tensei III Remasteradded a full Japanese dub with a new cast. And the game got fully dubbed in English too. So it makes sense from a business standpoint for the brand new entry on Switch,SMT V, to receive the same treatment.
Note that you can find the brand new trailer right below.
