It’s a busy time forCall of Dutynowadays. Modern Warfare 3 has recently become the first COD title to be in the Xbox Game Pass. Now fans are waiting for the other titles of this long-hailed franchise to join the party.
On the other hand, the game has also released its brand new Season 5. Amidst all of these hypes, there is a new cosmetic bundle that might have made this game look likeFortnite.
Sock Puppet Bundle in Season 5 of Call of Duty
Call of Dutyhas recently launched a hilarious cosmetic bundle, named Sock Puppet Tracer Pack, in Season 5. For 2800 COD points, this bundle contains two silly sock puppet skins, one named Socky for the Bantam operator and the other named Sock It To ‘Em for Raptor.

Not only that, the Sock-themed blueprints for STG44 and Lachmann Sub are also there in this funny bundle, along with The Lost Sock large decal, Rock N’ Sock emblem, Sock Puppet loading screen, and two stickers named Grumpy Sock and Sole Mates.
Call of Dutyhas always worked with a serious military tone. But in recent years, the game has worked on seemingly lighter aspects, which is quite unnatural to the franchise’s basics. For example, collaborations withFallout,Godzilla,The Boys,Dune, and many more.

However, the Hoping Mad Easter bunny tracer pack ofModern Warfare 2or the recent Emoting Bundle ofModern Warfare 3sparked a lot of controversies, as it questioned the franchise’s heavy and deep aesthetics. Now this new crazy bundle has joined the line as well.
Fans Haven’t Liked This Bundle at All
WithCall of Duty:Black Ops 6knocking at the door, the franchise’s approach to making the game a bit less intense may have backfired. This gaming series has always been the pinnacle of heart-wrenching fights, where there’s no hint of lighthearted moments.

That’s why this paltry bundle might have hurt people’s emotions if they take the game too seriously. Due to the lack of serious aspects these days, dedicated fans have stopped playing this game.

Call of Duy‘s approach to trying something new is quite commendable. The game has jumped into several collaborations with various franchises. However, bringing out these childish bundles is absolutely killing the serious vibes of the game. And the major dissatisfaction from the fans is a clear indication of that. Exploring new aspects is appreciable, but not by forgetting its roots.
