In the first Act, Vander dominates the story with his powerful hold on the undercity. However, things have changed after his death, and Silco has control of the city now. On the other hand, Jayce has climbed up ranks in Piltover after creating Hextech with Viktor. After that, we see Jayce fighting alongside Vi to take down Silco once and for all.
Who is Jayce in League of Legends?
In the universe ofLeague of Legends, Jayce is the ultimate protector of Piltover. He has dedicated every inch of his strength to safeguarding the upper city. Interestingly, he flaxes a Hextech Hammer in his hands that he uses to bring down the enemies. Fortunately, we saw Jayce using his hammer inArcanewhen he fought with Silco’s minions with Vi.
Like other members of The Council, Jayce doesn’t care about attention or money; he only wants to progress with Hextech. His heart only desires the welfare of his people, and for that, he can go to any lengths. However, unlike Viktor, Jayce has a moral code that he doesn’t break.
InArcane, we see Jayce’s dedication to saving his people, including Viktor, who is slowly dying. Even the seat at The Council doesn’t distract Jayce from his goals; he wants to save lives both in the upper city and undercity. After building the Hexgate through his knowledge, Jayce has already started eliminating the corruption, making several powerful enemies in the process.
Jayce is the only Council member who shows heart for the Undercity. He even lays down his weapon against Zaun when he accidentally kills a kid while trying to destroy one Shimmer manufacturing plant.

Will Jayce Survive in Arcane?
In the final episode, we saw Jayce putting his proposal for peace with Zaun in front of the Council. However, right when he convinces the Council members, Jinx launches her rocket exactly where the meeting is taking place. So, many fans wonder if Jayce will survive the blast; well, we have good news for you.
Arcaneserves as a prequel series for theLeague of Legendslore. So, characters who are available in the game as Champions will definitely survive inArcane. It includes Jinx, Vi,Caitlyn, Ekko,Singed, and of course, Jayce.
That said, we aren’t sure how exactly he will survive the blast; there’s a chance thatMel, who notices the Jinx’s rocket first, will end up saving Jayce. Anyway, we’ll get that answer when we getSeason 2ofArcane, but the good thing is that Jayce will survive in the show.
