Some fans even claim that Tabata-San has created a work equivalent to anime greats likeNaruto, One Piece, and evenDragon Ball. The show follows a deadline release system, where the artist has been tirelessly working on keeping the series going.
This made the fans of the community wonder how long the manga would take to tell the tale of Asta becoming the Magic King. Interestingly, the mangaka has shared two conditions that keep him motivated to continue the title.

However, there has been a constant question in the fan community if the title is making an attempt to be the nextOne Piece.During an exclusive interview withVIZ, the mangaka was asked about his motivation to keep going, even after writing“200 chapters.”
Tabata-Sensei answered that he has two reasons to stay highly motivated. He said,

Uhhhhh… Good question… [laughs] Well, there are a lot of people looking forward to the next chapter, I hope, so that motivates me. Plus there’s a lot of stories that I still want to tell, so that keeps me going.
The second reason is one of the sweetest gestures in love, as the mangaka acknowledged that his wife loves the series, and she wants him to keep working on it. He added,

Oh, and my wife wants me to keep it up. She wants me to keep working. [laughs]
Even though the mangaka has been doing a great job with the manga, he has been consistently working on it to ensure that fans stay excited for the next chapter of the title.

However, at the same time, it has dire consequences for him, as he claims that his job is not allowing him to take a vacation.
Yuki Tabata’s Magnum Opus Hasn’t Allowed Him a Vacation For Quite Sometime
Being a manga artist can be a hectic job because working under strict deadlines is not a cup of tea for everyone! Despite working on a deadline basis, Yuki Tabata is no exception to this reality. While his life is somewhat better than that of other manga creators, his creation has had one dire consequence in his life.
During an exclusive interview withfranceinfo, Tabata-Sensei was asked about his day-to-day schedule and how his life has been affected. The mangaka explained that he communicates the idea of the chapter for the first“two or three days.”
However, he still feels the pressure because he completes his sleep, but there’s one problem that comes along with his job. He said,
I don’t have much time, but that’s because I allow myself to sleep a little. At the beginning of the publication of Black Clover , I only slept three hours a night because I was a little stressed. Since the anime adaptation, I’ve relaxed a little. Currently, I sleep six hours a night, so it’s okay. The problem is that I haven’t taken a vacation in three years. It’s a tough job.
Not taking a vacation in a long time had its perks, as the show has reached unmatched popularity in comparison to other shows, but switching to a different idea saved him big time fromrepeatingBleach’sfate.
