VALORANTcommunity is incredibly close to experiencing the much-awaited Episode 3 update. And players wonder exactly when the new Episode will begin; well, here’s everything we know about it.
Riot Games is celebrating the year one anniversary of its popular FPS title with the upcoming Episode 3 Act 1 update. The new season is titled’Reflection,‘hinting towards the mysterious Duality Lore.
The massive update will introduce a new battle pass with several captivating weapon skins. However, the main highlight of Episode 3 is definitely the 16th agent,KAY/O. The new agent is an Initiator, and very soon, players will get to experience the robotic agent in the game.
VALORANT Episode 3 Start Time: When does Episode 2 Act 3 end?
Update:VALORANT has updated the Maintenance notice on its service statuspage. According to the new notification, Patch 3.0 will release at 6:00 AM PDT today (June 22nd), and the game will be unavailable until 10:00 AM PDT in North America. Meaning, VALORANT servers will be down for exactly four hours, and Episode 3 will begin after the maintenance is complete.On the other hand, the servers will be down in Europe from 4 AM BST to 8 AM BST on June 23rd. Similarly, the maintenance time will be different for every region; you can see the specific time for every region on Riot’s service page.
Riot Games officially confirmed thatVALORANTEpisode 3 Act 1 would start on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021. The ongoing Episode 2 Act 3 and the current battle pass will end on the same day. So, if you haven’t unlocked all the items in the battle pass, it’s best to start grinding right now.
As of timing, Riot doesn’t release the new patch in all regions simultaneously. Generally, updates are rolled out in Asia first, and Europe and North America get the new content after a couple of hours.
Last time, Riot started rolling out theEpisode 2 Act 3update at 2 PM PDT. So, even though the devs didn’t reveal Episode 3’s exact release timing, we can assume that they will release the update around the same time.
Anyway, like every time, players will get an in-game notification for the Patch 3.0 release time. So, we’ll update this article accordingly.
When does Competitive Queue end?
Riot Games disables competitive queue a few hours before the new Act update. For now, theVALORANT’sservice statussays that"This Act’s Competitive queue is ending soon,“and the specific time in the Act tab is 7:30 PM IST; when converted, the timing for the NA and EU servers turn out to be 7 AM PDT/ 9 AM EST/10 AM EST/ 4 PM CEST.
