The situation was entirely under Ryomen Sukuna’s control, but with simultaneous character introduction, the Jujutsu society has got the upper hand over the King of Curses. Higuruma slowed down Sukuna, and after that, Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu teamed up. It went on with Miguel, Maki, Choso, etc.
Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 259 will have several important moments, but the most crucial is the return of a fan-favorite character, who was last seen almost a hundred chapters ago. Since both used Blood Manipulation techniques, Yuji asked Choso to teach him the Cursed Technique. But Choso refused, and Kamo taught him the technique.

When the protagonist was about to suffer a crushing defeat at the King of Curses’ hands, Aoi Todo came to his aid.

Yuji Itadori, the protagonist, has a massive burden on his shoulders to end the misery once and for all. Even though he was a normal kid, his progress has been massive, especially in the last few chapters.
Jujutsu Kaisenwill soon reach its climax, with both parties weakened. It might not be for long that the fans would get to enjoy the top-notch fight sequences and the fast-paced storyline. For the moment, the fans are excited about the return of Aoi Todo. They would once again get to experience the ‘best friend’ partnership since their fight against Mahito. With Sukuna weakened, the duo might be the trump card for Jujutsu society’s victory.
