With theWarzonelive event now less than 24 hours away, fans weren’t quite expecting anything to happen in-game until theVanguardreveal event officially began, especially not the train crashing.

But, that’s exactly what has happened. The large train that has circled Verdansk since Season 5 has come to a blistering halt as it has crashed inside one of the tunnels.

TheWarzoneTrain Has Officially Crashed In Verdansk

At approximately 6PM BST, reports began circulating on social media that the train circling Verdansk had crashed.

As you can tell from the short clip, the train has crashed inside of a tunnel which can be located north of the Hospital POI.

So, what does it all mean? Why has the Train that once circled Verdansk suddenly come to a halt?

Why Has TheWarzoneTrain Crashed?

On Thursday, August 19th, a new event will take place inside ofWarzone. This upcoming event will be for the official reveal ofCall of Duty2021, also known asCall of Duty: Vanguard.

The event has been teased by theCall of Dutysocial media accounts for some time now and will be called the ‘Battle For Verdansk’.

During the Battle for Verdansk, players will have to work together with their squad to target an incoming heavily armored train that is en route to Verdansk. Players will be required to grab TNT, coordinate with your team and ambush the incoming train.

So, it appears that the train crashing in Verdansk is simply an easter egg of things to come in the Vanguard Reveal Event.
