The success and popularity of any anime series depend on a number of aspects. These aspects range from the storyline to the visual representation of the characters. However, the one thing that probably matters the most in today’s era is the animation quality of the series, which enhances the ongoing narrative to the next level.

There are many animation studios that have helped different manga creators adapt their manga stories and display them in a way that makes them even more enticing. And while MAPPA studios stand at the top most of the time, Ufotable has proved time and time again that they might be better in terms of producing godlike animation throughDemon Slayer.
However, Ufotable’s marvelous work is not only reflected inDemon Slayer.BeforeDemon Slayer, Ufotable had another anime film trilogy that proved Ufotable would remain unbeatable in the anime industry. This anime film trilogy is calledFate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel, and it is based on Heaven’s Feel, the third route of theFate/Stay Nightvisual novel game.

While Ufotable earned global recognitionwithDemon Slayerin 2019, the animation studio was already dropping bangers, and the one that made the most amount of noise beforeDemon Slayerwas theFate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feelanime film trilogy. It was some of the greatest anime films in the history of Japan, and while the original source had other anime adaptations, no one was able to do it like Ufotable.

Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feelfollows the story of Shirou Emiya, an amateur mage, and his friend Sakura Matou, who become a part of the Holy Grail War, a battle royale to determine the winner among the mages. The winner receives the Holy Grail, an artifact that is able to grant any kind of wish, making the holder incredibly powerful.
Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel’sstory was adapted into three films, and all three films were successful on a global scale. The main aspect behind the success of the film series was indeed its animation quality and visualization that brought out the story of the novel game into reality.

Fans believe Ufotable is better than MAPPA
Ufotable’s journey since its beginning in 2000 has been great, and while the animation studio has worked on a bunch of works, its relationship with Type-Moon (the video game company that createdFate/Stay Night) is on a completely different level. The biggest proof of this is the wonderful work the studio did with the anime film trilogy.
A fan recently shared a clip from one of theFate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel’sanime films on X, and it revealed what quality of animation Ufotable was producing back in 2017.

I’d give anything to have Ufotable animate JJK season 3, or Studio Pierot.
Was that not obvious though? Apparently not for the general consensus, unfortunately…
Ufotable has truly proved its worth as one of the greatest animation studios in the world. The studio’s works, likeFate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel, andDemon Slayer, are representations of the hard work and effort they put into their projects, and they certainly bring good results.
