It seems pretty weird how movies are getting released in 2024 and are competing against one another for the top spot at the global box office. Although Disney is in a win-win situation after Ryan Reynolds’Deadpool & Wolverine, fans are not so happy with the whole ordeal.

Films competing is a normal thing. However, the Hollywood roster of movies for 2024 was quite diverse, weird, and unnatural as several cinema classics collided alongside modern Gen Z pieces of art. The end result was naturally a disaster.
The Roster of Hollywood Movies For 2024 Was Quite Weird
Although we haven’t pulled out the New Year champagne yet, we are getting closer to the New Year celebrations and the end of 2025. Being one of the not-so-great years for Hollywood movies, 2024 has seen a lot.
Back in January, director David Ayer releasedThe Beekeeper(starring Jason Statham) whileMean Girlsalso got a remake (which was okayish). The list continues to mention several despicable failures likeArgylle, Madame Web,andRebel Moon – Part Two.

The list also had some of the finest pieces of cinema that the world had ever witnessed withDune: Part Two, Kung Fu Panda 4, A Quiet Place: Day One,andLonglegs.
However, the top two films of 2024 really showcase the contrasting difference between what people see and what they wish to see. Surprisingly, the top spots for Hollywood movies of 2024 are held byInside Out 2andRyan Reynolds’Deadpool & Wolverine, respectively. Now if that doesn’t tell you about the elegant taste of the audience, then we don’t know what will.

“Only kind of movies I want to see after Endgame”: Ryan Reynolds’ One Genius Decision is the Reason ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Could Save Marvel After Major Fiascos
With both films competing for the best title of the year at the box office records, Disney is in a win-win situation (since they own both movies). However, fans are not so happy about it.
There Should Be anInside OutFilm For Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool
There should be a film where the emotionsinside Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool are portrayed as the emotions inInside Out.Although there would be a few emotions (like anger and joy for violence), Disney can do it if they want to. All jokes aside,Deadpool & WolverineandInside Out 2are fighting for the number 1 spot at the global box office collection and fans are now involved.
Taking to their social media accounts on X, people talked about how there shouldn’t even be any competition between the two films sinceDeadpool & Wolverineis already better (their opinion).

Well, it seems that some people are angry about the competition betweenInside Out 2andDeadpool & Wolverine.Only if there was a film to explain to them how their emotions work and how it can impact other people’s emotions. Oh wait, there is!
