She further addressed her absence from the spotlight to catch people up on her life two years after her famous show was canceled. She stated,

Let me catch you up on what’s been going on with me since you last saw me. I got chickens. Oh yeah, and I got kicked out of show business for being mean.

Back in July of that year,BuzzFeed Newspublished an article that featured the experiences of several former employees who claimed they were subjected to a hostile work environment.

Claims included instances of racial microaggressions, fear, and intimidation of retribution, such as being sidelined or even terminated.
