After a very tough week for Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony, theHelldivers 2community has finally calmed down and is showing mercy for the team behind the game. Johan Pilestedt, the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, showed how the studio received flowers from fans.
While this gesture appears to have resolved the controversy, some X users remain unsatisfied. Many CMs and the people behind the game were very bad at managing this situation, allowing the conflict to escalate even more. Many fans are asking the studio to take action.
Johan Pilestedt Is Trying to Move on From the Controversy
Part of Helldivers 2’s community was viciouswith the dev team and Sony for attempting to make players link their PSN accounts to play the game on PC. After the situation escalated to a dangerous level, both the development team and the players were shocked to learn that Sony was reversing its previous stance. Everything cools off, and Arrowhead Game Studios is working hard to move on from this conflict.

Pilestedt posted this in an attempt to put the past behind him. Many users on X commend the studio for putting an end to the ongoing conflict. Others continue to believe that the studio’s handling of Discord was less than professional.
The Helldivers 2 Community Is Trying to Apologize in Their Own Way
Last week, Pilestedt was trying really hard to calm things down. The popular CEO shared ways to make thecomplaints heard by Sony, and he also gave as many answers as he could. However, as the conflict continued to escalate, he decided to leave the Discord server, not knowing how to talk to the fans who were being very irrational. On X, numerous users reminded Pilestedt of the issues with some CMs in the studio and some controversy.

Players eagerly anticipate the resolution of this issue, particularly given its minimal impact on the game’s sales.
Helldivers 2is about to launch its new Warbond, which will include many new features such as capes, weapons, grenades, and armor. Fans are still hoping to see new enemies inside the game that are not the Automatons or the bugs. There are rumors about new vehicles that could be added in the next few months, as well as the possibility of new stratagems that could help the players spread democracy easier.
