He goes after what he wants without considering casualties, aiming to expand his horizons beyond the Mushroom Kingdom. The main antagonist of the Super Mario Bros movie plans to marry Princess Peach to achieve world domination while collecting Super Stars to empower himself. He becomes a target for Mario and his comrades due to keeping Luigi in a dungeon in his castle. Bowser’s appearance in the movie resembles his video game counterpart, and Jack Black’s portrayal gives the character a new life.
7Princes Peach
Mario’s loyal friend, Princess Peach, goes a little beyond the classic ‘Princess’ portrait we see in movies, overcoming difficulties by herself without needing support. Her role in Super Mario Bros is no different from the one she plays in the games. Princess Peach is one of the key parts of the story, helping Mario in an attempt to stop Bowser. It is also safe to say that she plays a bigger role than other characters as a confident leader of the Mushroom Kingdom.
He serves as the highest-ranking officer of Bowser, using his excellent magical abilities to turn every space into a Bowser space. Kamek plays a simple role in the movie as he does in Mario games, and that’s exactly what makes the character one of the beloved antagonists. As seen in the movie, Kamek can create portals, pulverize enemies, and even dress like Princess Peach for role-playing. Although he is not in the foreground, Mario fans sympathize with him in every scene he shows up.
5Penguin King
His army of penguins attempts to stand against Bowser and Koopa Troop at the very start of the movie, but he eventually fails to protect one of the Super Stars. His little face could be a description of his personality, which is distressed, aggressive, and fearless.

He uses fire flower to become Fire Donkey Kong, which is a power-up considering his video game counterpart has never used it before. Having been bested by Mario in combat, Donkey Kong wastes no time in showing his willingness to help Mario along his journey. Donkey Kong’s faithfulness to his family makes him a fan-favorite Nintendo character.
In the first part of the movie, the anticipation for the final is heightened by Mario embarking on a journey to the Mushroom Kingdom and making new allies along the way. Lumalee has already stolen the hearts of many fans, which is best known for being cute and cheerful. If you are unfamiliar with the character, Lumalee cannot be characterized as a single person because they are a member of the Luma species, star-like creatures first seen in Super Mario Galaxy.
Lumalee’s characterization in the movie is a little bit surprising, being held prisoner by Bowser. His cheerful smile on his face remains intact as ever, but fans also take a glimpse at his inherent darkness.
