Kaiju No. 8’sfirst season has just come to an end with fans both excited for what is to come and saddened by the wait that they would endure. The anime found itself with an audience that, for the majority, enjoyed it wholeheartedly. Much like any anime, there were those who weren’t fond of it and those who found themselves wanting to put it on top of a pedestal.

As the anime progressed, rumors came flying about how the series was soon nearing its end. Fans began to grow concerned about the fate of the series seeing that there was much they wanted to see done and less time in their hands for any of it to be fulfilled.
Kaiju No. 8’s End Might Be Nigh
During an interview with Manga Plus,Kaiju No. 8editor Seijiro Nakaji found himself answering a lot of questions about the hit series and howNaoya Matsumotofound layers upon layers within humanity and mankind to fill them all in one series. For a while now, fans have been speculating that the series would soon be coming to an end.
The story is currently reaching its climax, but I will continue to give my all to draw ‘Kaiju No. 8,’ so please continue to support me.

Matsumoto suggested that the series might soon be ending (viaAnime Hunch) considering that it is at its climax. This had fans going wild because of the various loose threads left untied.

The worry stems from the various characters who need their stories completed and the many other number weapon holders of the series who have yet to find their conclusions. Kafka’s story alone wasn’t the only one going on and an end this soon could be nothing but trouble.
Kaiju No. 8 Has a Lot Left to Uncover
Seijiro Nakaji, the editor, seemed to have already addressed this matter long ago, putting any doubt aboutKaiju No. 8ending to rest. According to him, during an interview withManga Plus,“The story is going to become even more heated.”
It was a clear indication of just how much is left before the series ever decides to close the book. Seeing that there is a lot left to uncover, it would be safe to assume that the series is nowhere near its end.
