The next installment in Tom Holland’sSpider-Manfilm series is finally in the making, and so far, quite a few reported elements of it are turning out to be appealing to fans. For instance, an exclusive report has suggested who the big bad in this upcoming fourth movie will be, and the rumors are actually eating, because the threat is more than just real this time.

As per an insider, the villain is someone that even the mad Titan Thanos would think twice about before getting into combat with: Knull. And, if true, this formidable nemesis would be enough to have Holland’s neighborhood superhero potentially launching into another multiversal-level war while pairing up with Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom to deal with it.
Tom Holland Could Potentially be Battling Knull inSpider-Man 4
According to theCosmic Circus, Marvel may be going back on its idea of developing a street-level story for the web-slinger. This would have notably seen him teaming up with Daredevil to defeat Wilson Fisk and other old and new villains of Spidey, following the events ofDaredevil: Born Again. But now, they may instead be pitting Venom and Spider-Man together.
That’s not all. Adding to these reports of Holland’s hero potentially being paired withTom Hardy‘s Venom after the latter’s presumed crossover into the MCU withVenom: The Last Dance, there are also rumors that the baddie villain this duo may be taking on might be Knull. And this Cosmic Satan, for one, is under speculation of seeking out the Venom in Earth-616.

Tom Holland in Spider-Man 4 Will Reportedly be Facing an Avengers Level Event: It’s Bad News Because of 1 Very Valid Reason
For those who may be unversed,Knull is one of the most formidable villains to existin the Marvel universe. An eldritch god of darkness and the creator of the symbiotes, he exists in the primordial void between the Sixth and Seventh Cosmoses. He is infamous for decapitating a Celestial after being chosen to serve as the King in Black while the Celestials created the universe.
Adding to this, he is also the one to have forged the All-Black the Necrosword by using the slain Celestial’s head, linking both himself and the Necrosword to the fallen cosmic god of the Marvel-verse. To say the least, with his symbiotic suit of armor from the eldritch darkness he commanded, this Cosmic Satanis on a genocidal campaign against the other gods and life itself.

That said, battling him will, needless to say, not be easy, even ifTom Holland‘s friendly superhero has company. If anything, even someone like Thanos, who easily ended up breaking Captain America’s vibranium shield inAvengers: Endgamewhile taking on the God of Thunder at the same time, would think more than just twice before getting on this villain’s bad side.
Fans React to Knull Being a PotentialSpider-Man 4Villain
Of course, those who are aware ofthe fierceness with which Knullseeks to enshroud the entire multiverse into darkness know that the young adult Peter Parker, who just got into college in the previous installment, will have a hard time dealing with him if this villain pops up into his universe. Thus, they are expressing their concerns regarding the same in their reactions to this news.
Taking to X, here’s what they have to say about Marvel’s Cosmic Satan potentially joining the cinematic universe through Holland’s Spidey-arc:

C’mon, knull can easily fuck spiderman .That’s a fact.
How are they going to build this up the right way…
so will Tom get a symbiote suit arc or not wtf is going on

It would be so much better if they make him the next big threat after secret wars and build him starting from Spiderman and venom movie.he deserve that.pic.twitter.com/Kpk9uLC9GR
i really donr know how to feel bout thiscant blame marvel sony js be using everyone so good call getting knull i guess but hes more a venom villain so idk idk
Spider man : knull and void
So basically you’re telling me that Tom is dying ok got it 👍👌🔥
Well, for what it’s worth, introducing that street-level fight first would have been more interesting as it could have opened doors for epic pair-ups like Spidey and Daredevil against Wilson Fisk and the likes from the latter’s arc. But if Marvel is really seeking this potential multiversal threat, then it might as well make its heroes league stronger first.
For now, taking these reports with a pinch of salt would be better to avoid any disappointments in the near future.
