The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrackcollects 13 of the vocal tracks recorded forRed Dead Redemption 2. The soundtrack is being produced by 11-time Grammy Award winner Daniel Lanois. He has worked with artists like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Willie Nelson. He called the world ofRed Dead"a place for my imagination to run wild". This is easy to hear in the powerful tracks that accompany Arthur’s journey through the American West.

The soundtrack features vocal performances fromD’Angelo, Willie Nelson, Rhiannon Giddens, Josh Homme, and an additional track from David Ferguson. If you decide to pre-order the collection, you’ll be able to instantly download two tracks: “Crash of Worlds” by Rocco DuLuca and “Table Top” by Lanois.

I’ve listened to each song a few times since Rockstar put them out on Twitter. Both are solid additions that certainly capture the overall tone ofRed Dead Redemption 2. They don’t fit into my personal musical genres of choice, but if you like this type of music, I could see them easily fitting into your rotation.

The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Orginal Soundtrackdrops on July 12. If you haven’t already picked upRed Dead Redemption 2, you may grab it now on PS4 and Xbox One. Check out a sample of the two pre-order tracks below.
