The 2022 Aniplex Online Fest took place earlier today, and as everyone expected, we got some major announcements for some of the most anticipated anime shows. Among some of the most notifying announcements were a short PV for Bleach TYBW, therelease window of NieR: Automata, Solo Leveling, and, not to forget, The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2.

It was back in March of last year when we got an official announcement regarding the show’s return with a second season. But, it was not revealed until now when we would get to enjoy the series. It has now been confirmed my the show’s creators that The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2 will premiere in January of 2023. An official trailer and a key visual were also released to commemorate the announcement.

The news for the January release of the second season of The Misfit of Demon King Academy comes from theofficial websiteof the series. We don’t have an exact release date yet, but it’s likely to be shared in the coming months. When the sequel was first greenlit in March 2021, it was also officially announced that the series would run in split-courses. Also, Yuichiro Umehara will be replacing Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of the main protagonist, Anos Voldigoad, this time.
