Last Time on The Mandalorian…

In the aftermath of Vane’s expulsion, Pirate King Gorian Shard invades the planet Nevarro, prompting High Magistrate Greef Karga to call for help from New Republic X-wing pilot Carson Teva. Teva suspected that the attack might be a prelude to the Empire’s return and informed Colonel Tuttle, but Tuttle showed little concern. Teva then sought out the Mandalorian covert and enlisted their help.

Din Djarin convinced the covert to assist Karga, despite their prior conflicts with him. Bo-Katan assumed command of the Mandalorian attack force, and they eventually defeated the pirates, forcing Vane to flee and kill Shard. The Mandalorians were welcomed back by Karga and the people, and they moved back into their enclave.

The Mandalorian chapter 22 release

After the battle, the Armorer met with Bo-Katan and acknowledged her as the chosen one who could reunite all Mandalorians. She told Bo-Katan to remove her helmet, symbolizing her new position. The Armorer then announced to everyone that Bo-Katan would lead a mission to reunite Mandalorians across the galaxy and retake Mandalore.

Meanwhile, Teva encountered the debris of Moff Gideon’s prison transport on his way back to Adelphi and found a shard of beskar alloy, indicating that Mandalorians may have been involved in Gideon’s escape. In recognition of their heroic aid, Karga gifted the Children of the Watch a piece of land on Nevarro. The Armorer’s message inspired Bo-Katan and the Mandalorians to continue their quest to reunite their people and rebuild their civilization.
