After you’ve completed your journey throughThe Last of UsPart 1, Naughty Dog gives you a bunch of little perks and options to apply to your future replays. One of these unlockable options includes new outfits and customizable gear forJoel and Ellie. While Joel’s outfits are a handful of boring dad shirts, Ellie is a verifiable fashionista with a closet of a whopping 25 unlockable outfits.

You can unlock these outfits with a currency you earn as you play the game and unlock achievements. Any points you earned finishing the game will be sitting there, just waiting to be spent on your new wardrobe for the duo. While Ellie’s 25 outfits have many wonderful options, you might find these ten to be among the best of the best.
10Jak and Daxter
This manages to be a fun red and white outfit with a great reference to a classic game. Among the rest of the outfits selected, it’s a little plain, but it’s a fun one. Given that Jak and Daxter have other Easter eggs in the game, you might even stretch to say that it possibly exists within the setting.
9God of War Ragnarök
The sequel to end all sequels comes out in November, and Naughty Dog gives you a little something to celebrate the game while you wait. It’s a simple, clean design with a fun bit of PlayStation love. Ellie looks good in this outfit, though she’d probably favor an actual Leviathan Axe over just the shirt.
8Ghost of Tsushima
This is another simple design referencing a PlayStation fan favorite. It doesn’t draw much attention to itself, but that’s also part of the beauty. The Last of Us and Ghost of Tsushima are some of the most beloved and popular PlayStation titles, and fans can express their love for both titles at once by unlocking this great outfit for Ellie.
7Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
There’s something about this design that just fits in The Last of Us Part 1. It doesn’t look out of place, the colors seem right, and it’s a beautiful reference without being obnoxious or in the player’s face. Naughty Dog does a great job here, bringing in reference to one of their own beloved titles. While there is another Uncharted shirt available, it just didn’t hold a candle to this one.
6Horizon Zero Dawn
If Ellie knew about Aloy, she’d have a lot of love for her fellow archer. The image on this shirt is beautiful, and the coloring is very nice as well. Getting a bit of Aloy and her own world is a welcome reference and addition to Ellie’s considerable wardrobe. That said, it’s also a shirt many people might like for their own wardrobe in real life.
5Astro Bot
Not only is this the cutest looking outfit in Ellie’s wardrobe - sporting a lovely purple and tiny robot - but it’s also one of the best references in her whole parade of outfits. If you’re unfamiliar with Astro’s playroom, do yourself a favor and give it a try.

The game is an absolutelybeautiful celebration of all things PlayStation, making so many references to games and hardware that it’s hard to catch them all. Seeing Naughty Dog give them their own nod through Ellie’s wardrobe is fantastic, and it’s also just a good look for Ellie. It can’t be overstated how spot-on these colors are for her.
4Days Gone
All black and ready to stealth through the most dangerous areas of the game. The Days Gone shirt doesn’t exactly stand out, but that’s what makes it so great. This outfit feels like something a survivor might wear to draw a little less attention to themselves in a dangerous world. Given that both games feature hardened survivors in a brutal world, it’s nice to see a bit of love given to Days Gone in this outfit.
3Seattle Wear
If you love The Last of Us Part II, you must be familiar with this outfit and its origins. Ellie’s iconic Part II outfit still manages to look good on her younger self.

While definitely a top contender among Ellie’s many outfits, the next two manage to edge it out by just being too perfect. However, if you’re replaying this game, why not break out the Seattle gear and enjoy an outfit from a less innocent time?
While it isn’t quite worthy of the number one spot, you have to respect the willingness of Naughty Dog to make a Kill Bill reference like this. The outfit is absolutely iconic, out of place, and somehow completely perfect for Ellie. If you want to stand out and send shivers down your enemy’s spine, definitely pick the jumpsuit.
1Angel Knives
There could be no other number one pick for this list. Angel Knives is perfect because it blends into the world so well. Here we have a game seen out in the world of The Last of Us. Not only that, butEllie has specific memoriesof her and Riley pretending to play this game with their imagination. It makes perfect sense that a shirt for the game would exist and that Ellie would have that shirt in her wardrobe.
