From being the New York Theater Actor to being the iconic Batman voice behind the animated series, fans have rejoiced for Kevin Conroy every time. The iconic voice, however, ended with the legendary voice-over actor’s untimely demise on June 13, 2025, when he was 66.

Fans who have grown up watching the animated Batman series can never get over the iconic voice. Conroy started with his journey with DC’s Gotham hero voicing for the title character inBatman: The Animated Series (1992–1995)and continued in several spin-offs. Now, for a treat for the fans, more than one project may have included Conroy’s voice posthumously.
Kevin Conroy as Batman For One Last Time
Kevin Conroy’sdeath was devastating but fans could not digest the unceremonious farewell to the actor inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguevideo game. There was a huge controversy dominating the social platforms after the early access release of the said game but now fans can expect the legendary Batman star, at least one more time.
As reported byIGN, fans will witness Conroy’s voice one last time and it has been confirmed by the outlet.Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguewas marked as his final performance as Batman but the actor has two more releases in the coming days. Conroy will appear in Bruce Timm’s upcoming Prime Video animated seriesBatman: Caped Crusader. Conroy recorded his voice for the show prior to his untimely demise but at the moment it is unclear if he voiced for Batman or any other character.

However, the outlet confirmed that Conroy will definitely play the Caped Crusader inJustice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part ThreefromBatman: The Animated Series. The first part of theCrisis on Infinite Earthstrilogy has already been released and fans are very excited about the later parts.
Fans Are Not Ready For A Goodbye
It can never be easy to bid farewell, especially to someone who has been a part of popular culture for several decades. Conroy was one of them, forging hislegendary career being the iconic voice of Batman. Of course, many fans are not ready for a goodbye but certainly expect that this will be a ceremonious farewell, unlike the video game.

Several hardcode DC, or specifically Batman fans consider Conroy as the greatest of all time when it comes to voicing Gotham’s Dark Knight. Hopefully, the legend will receive a farewell worth remembering as his final work. The release information ofJustice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part Threeis still under wraps.
