Trump, who is currently running for president in the upcoming elections, hasn’t been the kindest toward Goldberg and her crew atThe Vieweither. While he had a million other things to worry about while speaking at his rally in Pennsylvania, the 78-year-old spoke about how “dumb” he believes hosts ofThe Vieware.

Firstly,Whoopi Goldbergmentioned howJoe Roganmixed up the date of Donald Trump’s appearance onThe View, which took place in 2011. The UFC commentator and standup comedian mentioned that the interview happened around the time Trump ran for president. Shesaid,
There’s a lot of fake news coming up so we’re going to clear up some of it as it happens. It was 2011, four years before he announced he was running. That’s the first thing they got wrong.
Goldberg also touched upon Rogan mentioning how Trump was introduced as a “friend” ofThe View‘s cast while Goldberg’s co-host at the time, Barbara Walters actually said “my friend”. Goldberg had to set the record straight on how she truly felt about Trump appearing on her show.
So, Barbara was her usual polite self as she was with every guest. But did I look warm and fuzzy? Was that a warm and fuzzy welcome for him? But because I respect Barbara, she said be polite to guests no matter what. And for the most part I got through it, I did it, like I do now.

Our focus is making sure we get the right person in the right job to lead the country out of the malaise we’re all in… We’ve been in trauma for years now. And I’m hoping with this next election we will have a breather and get back to the people’s business. That’s what I want.
Honestly, there’s no better way she could’ve ended her response. Trump is already being criticized for his most recent rally at the Madison Square Garden, which featuredDr. Philand Tony Hinchcliffe who made a rather sketchy remark on Puerto Rico.
