Cobra Kaiis considered the rightful successor to theKarate Kidseries, so naturally, excitement is bound to run high when it approaches its finale. When creatorsJosh Heald,Jon Hurwitz,andHayden Schlossberggathered to answer questions forDeadline, inquiries about the release of the final season were thus inevitable.
The sixth season and the final season have faced delays for some time now due to the major strike that was going on in Hollywood. However, now that everything is back to normal, fans eagerly anticipate its arrival. Heald said,
“We are in the writers’ room working feverishly and we have been since the WGA strike ended. We are thrilled that the SAG-AFTRA strike has also ended. We are going back into production after the new year on the biggest, boldest season we’ve done yet.”
To which Schlossberg added,
“With the only caveat being that nothing else happens in the industry. That’s the hope to get this out ASAP for the fans who have been waiting.”
For now, it has been confirmed that the season will arrive in 2024. Although a definitive date has not been announced, this news is definitely a step up from being deprived of any information at all. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates.

“Anyone from the Miyagi-verse could potentially be in the final season.”
