Looking back at what had transpired, she stated that she did not rue the fact that she accepted this part as it contributed to the larger picture when it came to her career.

“To me that film was a building block, it’s what allowed me to build a relationship with Sony. Without doing Madame Web I wouldn’t have a relationship with the decision-makers over there. Everything in my career I do not just for that story, but strategic business decisions.”

Sydney Sweeney Called Out Unnecessary Exposure inEuphoria

Sydney Sweeneyhas proved that she is someone who has a mind of her own and is never scared to express her opinions. This trait was seen during her successful stint inEuphoriawhen she played the vengeful and openly sxual Cassie Howard. This gritty drama about teenaged drug addicts which became a huge blockbuster, also contained many scenes of graphic sxual content especially with relation to theImmaculatestar’s character.

Sweeney though, was openly against putting herself and her character through unnecessary exposure and requested her director Sam Levinson to tone down some of the scenes that did not require excessive n*dity. In an interview withThe Independent, she revealed her reasons behind wanting this change in the show.
