Fallout Fans Debate Who Should Play The Mysterious Stranger In Season 2
Fallout fans have spoken about who they would love to see play The Mysterious Stranger in season 2.
Tell Me Your Story’s Inspiration
Tell Me Your Story revolves around schoolgirl Amelia and her summer holiday visiting her grandma Rose’s cottage, who, like a lot of grandmothers, has plenty of stories to tell, but this particular granny just so happens to be a globetrotter with a home full of wondrous items collected from traveling across Asia, Europe, and the Amazon rainforest. Players will be treated to a tale of Rose’s memories and interesting artifacts as she and Amelia traverse through her past.
In aninterviewwith GameRant, RedDeer Games developer discussed how real-life inspirations crafted Tell Me Your Story’s narrative to make it more relatable to players, as well as how other cozy games inspired its art direction.

“When we thought about it a bit longer, I had a feeling that we were missing something that could make the overall game more engaging. I started to think about relationships, specifically mine with my grandparents and with my daughter, and how my relationship with those older than me impacted who I am today.” the indie developer told GameRant, “I wanted to share those feelings with a bigger audience, as most of us have had that experience, and some of us regret that we didn’t have enough time to spend time with some of our loved ones.”
When asked if there were any particular games that RedDeer plucked from other cozy titles, a few exciting ones popped up, giving Tell Me Your Story a deeper level into what players can expect from this intriguing indie game before they jump in. “We had a lot of inspiration from most of the cozy puzzle games, such as Little to the Left, Unpacking, or Venba. The goal was to take all the small pieces of these games that we enjoyed playing and mold them together to make something unique while also incorporating the emotional core we envisioned.”
RedDeer also quoted Studio Ghibli and Winnie The Pooh’s hand-drawn style as their inspiration behind the game’s rich and vibrant 2D art palette." There were many sources of inspiration for both the artwork and design of Tell Me Your Story, including the aforementioned games. We were also inspired by animated movies from Studio Ghibli and Winnie The Pooh’s hand-drawn aesthetic."
Not one to be sitting around for too long, RedDeer Games are already working on another title related to Clement, Amelia’s grandfather, so fans will be able to keep following the same narrative spin and cozy art style even after finishing Tell Me Your Story.
