A trio of new trailers have dropped forSword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, one for Japan and two for North America.
A new expansion forSword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, entitled “Dissonance of the Nexus”, which is set to release alongside theComplete Editionof the game on August 05, 2025 in Japan and August 20, 2025 in North America. This expansion has two new parallel stories taking place in Snow Field, a new location and features Sachi, Yuna, Eiji, and Seven. For those not in the know, Sachi is a character from the original arc of theSword Art Onlineanime whocaused many tearsin the second episode of the series “Red-Nosed Reindeer.” The other characters come fromLost SongandOrdinal Scale, and each are playable characters.
TheComplete Editionwill include the base game, and all four expansions: “Ambush of the Imposters”, “Betrayal of Comrades”, “Collapse of Balance”, and “Dissonance of the Nexus”. Each expansion has been $9.99, so theComplete Editionwill save you $25 off the Deluxe Edition/fourth expansion and $35 if the base game, season pass, and fourth expansion (Dissonance of the Nexus) not covered by the season pass, are bought separately.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bulletlaunched in February 2018 as a sequel toHollow Realizationfrom 2016. It continues the story of Kirito inGun Gale Online, or a customizable player character, with multiple endings and an adaptation of the Death Gun arc from the light novel/anime. You can watch the Japanese trailer for the Complete Edition (which contains more gameplay than the others) as well as the English trailers for both Dissonance of the Nexus andComplete Editionbelow. Both Hollow Realization and Fatal Bullet will becoming to Nintendo Switchthough no date as of yet. TheComplete Editionand fourth expansion will come onJanuary 18, 2019for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America.
