XDefiant’smistakes keep piling up one over the other, and there is nothing they can do here to get back on track as the game is on the verge of extinction.

XDefianthas gotten a lot of negative reviews and hate from its users due to its inability to address problems promptly and fix the recurring issues faced by the game during its 2-month run.
XDefiant And Ubisoft + Paywall Is A Bad Move
Netcode errors have been a major bone of contention between the players and Ubisoft, as players have, on countless occasions, demanded a fix that has always gone unheard.
Amidst this conflict, Ubisoft is now planning a subscription that will offer many perks to the ever-decreasing number of players in the game. This decision by Ubisoft has been heavily criticized.

“This game is cooked”: XDefiant’s Cheating Problem Has Hit a New Low as Hackers Can Now Do More Than Shoot You Through Walls
Many players expressed their concern on the matter via Reddit. One user talked about how unfair it would be for players who do not opt for a Plus subscription to see skins and factions being incorporated that could never be acquired by earning XP.
Many other players backed this claim and were against this stupid decision by Ubisoft.

Another user said:
XDefiantis turning out to be a black sheep for Ubisoft; it is being treated as the neglected child that gets a sympathy treat every once in a while but nothing of significance.
Ubisoft really needs to pull its socks and do something about it if it wants the game to survive; otherwise, the game is looking to be nearing its end, and players are not even sorry.

XDefiant On The Brink Of Extinction
XDefiantis facing heavy criticism from fans, especially after Ubisoft has decided to come up with a Ubisoft + subscription.
This attempt has been bashed by players, largely due to their negligence towards the game and its players in the months following its release. Many bugs are still not being fixed, and no live-service game can survive without interacting with its player base.

Just Like Helldivers 2’s Major Orders, XDefiant is Struggling to Engage Enough Players to Get Anywhere Near Completing Its Community Orders
XDefiantmight soon be overshadowed by games releasing in the next couple months, especiallySpace Marine 2andBlack Ops 6. If Ubisoft does not change its ways, there might be a chanceXDefiantends once and for all.
There is still time, though very little, for Ubisoft to make amends and exchange dialogue with its player base to listen to their grievances and work towards making the game better instead of further hindering the appeal of the game by introducing things like a Ubisoft + Subscription.
