Data miners made an interesting discovery while digging up the game’s files to unravel what’s coming to the game.
Some Redditors have shared an Illuminate Warp Gate onHelldivers‘ official subreddit. Apart from this, some players have reported that they have heard a strange message on their ships that may hint that players may have been trusting the wrong side all this time. So far, it is unclear when the Illuminate will attack the players, but theories suggest that it has something to do with Joel.
The Illuminate’s Warp Gate has been found inHelldivers 2‘s files
A user on Reddit who goes by the name IronS1ghts has shared pictures onr/HelldiversLeaksof the Illuminate’s Warp Gate that were found inHelldivers 2game files. Much like Bug Hole or Fabricator, this Warp Gate will summon the Illuminate until it is destroyed. The original poster has credited user Dark728 for discovering the original model hash. He also mentioned that shooting at the warp could destroy it.

There are also rumorsthat mixed planet battles are coming toHelldivers 2.Some players have discovered Terminid bodies on Lesath’s Automaton Planet, leading to speculation that these two factions will team up soon in order to take down the community. It is also believed that Illuminate will only be added to the game after all the unreleased content gets officially released by Arrowhead. As of now, there are no confirmations about Illuminate’s arrival.

As perForbes, some players have been hearing some strange messages in their ships in the game that suggest Super Earth has been lying to the players. The reported message is further fueling the theories that claim that players have been trusting the wrong side all this time,

Some theories suggest that the Illuminate will only be introduced in the gameafter Joel allows players to push The Bugs and The Automatons backto their final sector/planet. As per this theory, fans should be ready for an ambush when they celebrate their win. There is constant speculation that the players will get betrayed by Joel soon, but only time will tell.
