If you’ve pre-ordered either the Standard orDeluxe EditionofSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, you might have noticed that the included pre-order bonus doesn’t give you complete access to every variant of the bundle. Well, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Other members of the community are calling the decision “irritating” after forking out $100 on Rocksteady’s latest release.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League comes in two different editions: Standard and Deluxe. The latter of the two costs $100 and gives players 72 hours early access, Justice League outfits, three black mask notorious weapons, squad golds weapon dolls, one battle pass token, and no shade color swatches.

Suicide Squad’s HUD is being heavily criticized for having too much going on.

Players can also get access to four classic outfits (one for each character) when pre-ordering either the Standard or Deluxe Edition. However, it looks like you don’t actually receive full access to the skin bundle, even if you have forked out for the $100 Deluxe Edition. The classic outfits appear to have different colored variants available to purchase via the in-game store, and are not included as part of the pre-order bonus.

Over on the Suicide Squad subreddit, users are expressing their dissatisfaction over Rocksteady’s decision to not include complete access to the classic outfits bundle. Reddit userTwistyChaseposted, “So my $100 version of the game doesn’t give me access to the FULL version of a skin bundle?”

Other players responded with their own outrage, with one user saying that it is “definitely irritating.” Reddit userP_For_Pyke, on the other hand, doesn’t even have access to the classic outfit selection, despite pre-ordering the game’s Deluxe Edition. “I don’t even have the classic outfits showing for me still lmfao,” the user said. However, they did note that customer support was working on tackling the issue.

While a plethora of players expressed their outrage, with one even calling the decision “insanity”, it is worth reiterating that the classic outfits are a pre-order bonus, and not specific to the Deluxe Edition. Although it does appear to be slightly disingenuous to not include the other color variants for the bundle, Rocksteady hasn’t exactly misled players.

If you check theFAQon the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League website, it clearly states that “all pre-orders will receive four Classic themed Suicide Squad outfits, one themed for each Squad member.” There is no mention of players receiving full access to every color variant, simply the four skins.

After pre-ordering a $100 edition of a game and not technically receiving the complete bundle, it’s understandable why players are irritated. But with live-service titles riddled with microtransactions, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Rocksteady expects you to splash that cash around for some new color variants.
