Each major faction quest line inStarfieldwill have major NPCs that players will be interacting with often, with Vladimir being one for the main Constellation quest line. Vladimir will point players to the location of Starborn temples, along with buying survey data for some of the best prices in the galaxy.

For most of the game, Vladimir can be found at one location and won’t move. After proceeding through the main events of the Constellation story, he will eventually relocate to a new location without the game making it clear this is a permanent change.
Where To Find Vladimir Early On
For those who haven’t progressed much through the Constellation storyline or who haven’t touched it at all,Vladimir is found on The Eye.The Eye is thesatellite flying overheadJemisonin the Alpha Centauri system, the same planet as New Atlantis and The Lodge. This space station can beapproached and boarded once you are within 500 meters of the station.Vladimir will almost always be in the central control room and, if not, can be found in one of the few side rooms around the control room.
When & Where Does Vladimir Move
As players progress through the main story with Constellation, the Starborn known as The Hunter, willeventually attack both The Lodge and The Eye.After the events of this mission, The Eye will be damaged, andVladimir will relocate to The Lodge.After this, Vladimir willstay within The Lodge and can be found either in the main lobby or in the greenhouseoff to the left of the entrance. Despite the damages from The Hunter, the Eye can still be visited after this.

Why Visit Vladimir
Vladimir is a major NPC for the Constellation quest line and willcontinue to track new Starborn templesandprovide their locations through the Power From Beyond quests. As more main missions are completed, return to Vladimir often to receive more missions and Starborn temple locations.
