InStarfield, ships come in three different classes:A,B, andC. As you increase your piloting skill, you’ll be able to fly the higher class ships, all of which will be better than your current ship. While higher-class ships can get very expensive, they are almost always worth the credits.

New ships can either be stolen or bought. While buying a ship is the more expensive option, stealing a ship will still cost a good bit to get registered under your own name. No matter your preferred method, always be sure to check with local Ship Service Technicians, as they always have somegood ships to sell.

Where To Buy The Stronghold
Travel to theCheyenne system,which is under the control of theFreestar Collective. In that system will be theplanetAkila,the second closest to the sun, withAkila City being one of the major fast travel pointsyou can land at. After landing, make your way towards the city, butdon’t walk through the main gate.To theright will be a small building with a “Ship Service” signangled slightly away from where you’re coming from in the building with the Ship Services Technician, who will beselling the Stronghold.

The Stronghold is a Class C ship, meaning you’ll have tomax out yourpiloting skillto be able to fly it.Otherwise, you’ll get the"You Are Not Authorized To Fly This Ship"message on the ship you just spent a small fortune on. This ship’sreactor gives 27 energy barsfor its various systems and hasroom for 6 crew members.
Its engine canjump 30 lightyears, and itscargo capacity is 2360. It emphasizes very high shields and hull strength,making it difficult to destroy, giving it the name “Stronghold.” This ship is excellent for those who treat their ship like a mobile home, as this ship cancarry so much around for them while also having more than enough room tocustomize the habswithin to fit your liking.
