With13 different areasfor you to investigate, you’ll need all the help you can get when looking for those specialcustomization chestsin each region. As such, let’s take it one step at a time,focusing on one place in particular; the Derelict Dam.
Chest 1: Scrapyard (BD-1 Body)
You can acquirea Databankanda Treasure (Priorite Shard)along the way.
Beginningfrom the Derelict Dam’s Meditation Point, make your waytoward the broken platform.Jump across the gapsto reach the opposite end. Now on top of the cliff,look belowto see the chest containing BD-1’s “Scrapyard” body cosmetic.Carefully descend towards itto unlock it.
Chest 2: Light Metal (Weapon Materials)
Starting from the Meditation Pointagain,follow the main pathstraight toward the gigantic Trontoshell (the huge, gentle creature seen in the distance). Just before you reacha yellow metal bridge, hop to its side on your left. There, you’re able to find the chest housing the Light Metal weapon materials.
Chest 3: Tactical (Jacket)
After acquiring the Light Metal weapon materials, immediately turn aroundto see theentrance of a tunnel/ passageway.Enter it, and then defeat the small Roller Mine waiting for you inside.Press on ahead, and you’ll see the chest containing Cal’s Tactical jacket skin on your left.
Chest 4: Anodized Metal (BD-1 Materials)
While you’reinside the tunnel, go further inuntil you reacha small passage to the left.Enter it, and you’ll find yourself inside a dark cave/clearing with a locked steel door to the side.Look up and around the area, and you’ll see the chest holding BD-1’s Anodized Metal materials at the edge of an elevated rocky formation.Wall run and jump your way to it, to obtain the loot.

Chest 5: Two-Tone Metal (Weapon Materials)
Afterobtaining BD-1’s Anodized Metal materials, look towards the front. The chest containing the Two-Tone Metal weapon materials is seen at the opposite end, below. It’s locked, so to open it,look to your right, and you’ll see a broken circuit/ electric panelon the wall.Shoot BD-1’s Electro Dart at it, and then the chest will be unlocked accordingly.
A Boss will appearto challenge you once the chest is opened.
Chest 6: Stim Canister
Make your way to thearea marked on the map, leading you to thefront of a massive structure/machine. Here, you may clearly see the Stim Canister chest on the other side of the place.
To go there, you need toopen the nearby structure’s metal door by using the Force, and then go through the tunnel. Uponreaching the opposite side, you can find the Stim Canister chestlocated on the right side of the clearing.
ALegendary enemy, theGorocco Matriarch, guards the area near the Stim Canister.
Chest 7: Mullet (Hair)
Returning to thespot where you acquired the Light Metal weapon materials, cross the steel bridge. Then, proceed togo to the enclosed area on your left that is swamped by a sticky, tar-like substance. You can eitherthrow a Roller Mine onto the wall to blow it up(if it hasn’t been done yet) orscale up the wall by climbing a certain sectionlocated a little bit to the front (you do this during the story).
Once inside the enclosed segment, proceed to find your footingonto the last floating panel, and thenjump across to climb the nearby wall to your left. The chest holding Cal’s Mullet hairstyle is found above.
Chest 8: Scrapyard (BD-1 Head)
In front of the gargantuan Trontoshell, there isan elevator built at the endof the dirt.Use it to descend, and you can already see the chest containing BD-1’s “Scrapyard” head placedon top of the other side of the wall, during your journey down.
Fight your way through the enemies patrolling the tight corridors, and thenuse the large containers to jump onto the cracked walls,wall-running to reach the upper sectionwith the chest earlier.
