Today Square Enix announced its lineup of games for Tokyo Game Show 2018, which will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, between September 20th, and September 23rd.
Kingdom Hearts IIIwill be playable, will have a stage presentation, and video content showcased at the booth. The same can be said ofDragon Quest Builders 2, andFinal Fantasy XIV.
The World Ends With You: Final Remixwill have video content and a stage presentation, same asMillion Arthur: Arcana Blood.
Just Cause4will have a livestream from the studio and video content.Just Cause 4andShadow of the Tomb Raiderwill get the same treatment.
Video content will also be showcased forGestalt Odin, Fantasy Earth Genesis, andFinal Fantasy XV.The Quiet Man, Project Tokyo Dolls, Final Fantasy: Record Keeper, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Mobius Final Fantasy, andDragon Quest Xwill only have livestreams from the studio.
The live broadcastingscheduleincludesDragon Quest X, Kingdom Hearts III, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Project Tokyo Dolls, Final Fantasy: Record Keeper, Just Cause 4, the Million Arthur series, Final Fantasy XIV, The World Ends With You: Final Remix, Left Alive, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Mobius Final Fantasy, andThe Quiet Man.
Incidentally, the official announcement mentions that sales ofFinal Fantasy XVpassed 8.1 million worldwide.
It’s worth mentioning that the schedule includes four slots marked to be “published at a later date.” This normally indicates unannounced games, which we might hear about before Tokyo Game Show, possibly at Sony’s presentation on Monday.
