InSpace Marine 2,progression is the key, especially when it comes to the co-op Operation mode. This is one of the more interesting modes with loads of content to offer, including Gene-Seeds.Space Marine 2Gene-Seeds are collectibles that most players are unaware of, but these play a significant role in leveling up.

While grinding through the game, players must have already noticed that all the Operations missions have multiple hidden items that must be collected to gain XP faster and progress sooner.
Among these hidden collectibles, Gene-Seeds are some of the toughest ones to grind, which often results in players missing out on these. Therefore, our guide will take you through all the Gene-Seeds locations.

Well, before going forward, there’s one thing that players need to keep in mind:Space Marine 2Gene-Seeds are randomly spawned collectibles. However, they spawn in set locations. Therefore, if you don’t find a Gene-Seed in one area during a specific mission, it must be somewhere else.
Here’s Where You Can Find Space Marine 2 Gene-Seeds in Operations Missions
Inferno Location 1
The first spot will be found before entering the Refinery, near the staircases. The Gene-Seed may spawn there. Don’tforget to choose the best class, before you start these Operations missions.
Inferno Location 2
The second possible location is the Refinery, during the Melta Bomb deployment. Look around the Generator 4’s room, and a Gene Seed may spawn.
Inferno Location 3
The final one will be found toward the end of the mission. Check out the small room opposite the equipment pod, and the Gene Seed may be found there.
Decapitation Location 1
The first Gene Seed will be found once players reach the rooftop from the church. Climb the stairs down, and you will see a hole in the wall on the left side. That’s a probable spot to have a Gene-Seed.
Decapitation Location 2
The next Gene Seed spawn location will be found after players take the elevator to come to the bridge area. Turn right and progress toward the backside until you see a big statue with a sword. A Gene-Seed may spawn there.
Decapitation Location 3
The third probable spot for getting a Gene-Seed is the courtyard of the same area. Start exploring the courtyard toward the far-right corner of the location, and you may find a Gene Seed at the end, on the left side.
Decapitation Location 4
The fourth location that you mustn’t miss while looking for a Gene Seed during Decapitation is just before you take the elevator to go to the next part. Turn right, and on the corner, you may get a Gene Seed.
Decapitation Location 5
This final spot will be found, toward the end of the mission, when you are in the room with big fans.

What Are the Effects of Gene-Seeds?
Gene-Seeds are genetic material the Emperor made to create Space Marines. According to the lore, Gene-Seeds were used to produce germ cells inside the bodies of the Space Marines. As Space Marines die, an Apothecary extracts all the Gene Seeds to create new Space Marines. That’s how the chain works.

Now, if you are unaware, Gene-Seeds have both positive and negative effects. Let’s start with the positive one. If players can complete a mission with a Gene Seed in possession, the entire team will receive a 30% XP bonus. However, the owner must be alive; otherwise, no effects will be gained.
Next comes the negative side. It’s that while holding a Gene-Seed, players can’t have a Guardian Relic. Therefore, when holding a Gene-Seed, they will be dependent on their teammates to revive. These are more or less everything that you should know about Gene Seeds inSpace Marine 2.
