Eric Kripke’sThe Boyshas brilliantly deconstructed the superhero genre and satirized the genre in inventive ways that fans have loved. Along with its social/political commentary, the show mocks the commercialization that comes with superhero films as well as its contrived tropes that have appeared in the MCU and DCEU.

One of the finest entries in the MCU wasAvengers: Endgamewhich culminate the Infinity Saga in a thoroughly satisfying and emotional way. However, the scene where all the female superheroes come together in the final battle comes off as forced and ridiculously convenient. The Amazon show made a mockery out of that scene with a hilarious parody in season 2.
The BoysSeason 2 Brilliantly Made Fun of One Cringy Scene FromAvengers: Endgame
Avengers: Endgamehad some wonderful sequences that harkened back to the history of the MCU as well as giving key characters a bittersweet closure. The film’s final battle brought back almost every hero in the MCU as they band together to fight Thanos and his army. Fans still remember the absolute thrill of seeing the iconic final battle on-screen.

However, the final battle had one scene that felt unearned and forced. In the scene, Spider-Man gives the Infinity Gauntlet toBrie Larson‘s Captain Marvel who is joined by the female superheroes. The way that they all come together came out of left field and felt too corny instead of being memorable.
Season 2 ofThe Boyshilariously mocked that moment in the scene where Vought promoted their female lineup of the Seven including Stormfront. Queen Maeve and Starlight. The ‘Girls Get It Done’ promo is made deliberately corny and is a clear dig at howEndgamemade the aforementioned moment with the women superheroes unintentionally funny.

OnInstagram, fans criticized the scene inEndgameand gave a shoutout toThe Boysfor satirizing the infamous moment. gamer451989 and fayeesscott wrote“The worst scene I in avengers endgame it just ruined the flow”and“That was so corny I was literally embarrassed watching it”.The scene clearly left a poor taste in their mouths.

“There’s a lot of material there”: Eric Kripke’s Honest Reason For Bringing Soldier Boy Back in The Boys Season 5 Resolves Fans’ Biggest Complaint From Season 4
Kripke further stated that the end of season 4 is comparable to the second act of a film where the protagonist are at their lowest point and are desperate to solve the dilemma they are facing. Season 5 will be the epic ‘third act’ where they come together and try their best to save the world from Homelander’s reign. The showrunner said,
I think the finale of season four really shows you that we’ve been planning five years all along. I always look at it as of the five seasons, we’re kind of at that point, that’s sort of the end of the second act of a movie where everyone’s really at their low point, and they’ve all faced their own personal demons. They need to really come together in the fifth season and save the world.

With Soldier Boy also set to be a major part of the last season, It will be interesting to see how his dynamic with Homelander affects his current rise to power. The Boysare separated and it will be a hard task to bring them together again after what happened in the season 4 finale. Fans hope Kripke delivers a thrilling season 5 for the show. All 4 seasons ofThe Boysare streaming on Prime Video.
