Valorantis a purely tactical shooter. The more tactics you have for certain situations, the more of an edge you have over the enemies in the matches. If you go onto YouTube, there are probably thousands of videos explaining specific tactics for particular agents.

Among all of these tactics, line-ups for throwables of your agents are some of the most crucial ones. Players spend huge amounts of time mastering their lineups in different maps with different agents. However, Riot can make this learning curve a lot smoother with just one simple step, which already exists in the game.

You need to know line-ups to playValorant, but learning them is a very tough job

Since its release in 2020,Valoranthas come a long way. Players have become more skillful, more precise, and more clever when it comes to playing this game. There are millions of tactics and millions of counter-tactics as well. Hence, the stakes are high.

To sustain amidst these circumstances, one must need to be at the peak of his gameplay. And the best bet to do that is to spend hours on custom maps. Custom maps not only enhance your game sense but sharpen your own customized tactics as well.

Most of the players use these custom maps to practice their line-ups for throwables, more specifically mollies. This process might be a bit tedious, as most of the agents don’t have a marker before throwing a molly or a smoke, so it takes a lot of time to make that lineup perfect.

Viper mains don’t have this problem, as this Controller features a marker on the mini-map every time she takes the smoke orb in her hand. So, they know exactly where they have to stand and point their cursors for a pinpoint throw. However, not every agent has this luxury.

Riot should introduce markers for throwable in custom maps inValorantfor all agents

That is why Riot needs to introduce markers for every agent when they are going to use a throwable, just like Viper’s Poison Orb. However, this feature should be restricted to custom maps only, because introducing it in ranked and unrated matches might hamper the gameplay because after that, real skill won’t matter anymore. Even the fans want this feature as well.

Having a marker beforehand using a molly or a smoke orb would ease your learning process to a great extent, as you would already know from where you have to throw them and can practice them repeatedly from the right spot. Because finding the right spot is more difficult than actually mastering that line-up.

And who doesn’t know the importance of lineups in post-plant situations?Brimstone alone might have saved thousands of matchesjust with his fire grenades. Not just him, but any character who possesses throwables like Killjoy, Gekko, KAY/O, Fade, and many more would benefit hugely with a marker on the minimap.
