Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie Episode 2 Recap
Sports tournament is organized in the school which includes several games like volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Izumi decides to participate in soccer while Shikimori selects Volleyball. When the game starts, Shikimori comes to cheer Izumi while her game is about to start soon. But it seems like Izumi’s bad luck is not leaving him alone.
After getting badly hurt in the game, Shikimori takes him to the nurse’s room. Izumi feels embarrassed as Shikimori had to take care of him again. While playing with Izumi’s hair, Shikimori finds a scar on his head and asks how he got it. Izumi replies that he has scars all over his body.
Shikimori says that she cares a lot about him, so he should stay by her side as much as he can. While she is leaving for her volleyball game, Izumi says that he can protect her as well. Shikimori teases him by saying that then she should hide with him in his bed, to which Izumi blushes.
Now the volleyball match starts, and the member of the other team, Kamiya is able to score points easily. Meanwhile, the boys lose the soccer match, after which, Izumi and Inuzuka head to see the volleyball match. After noticing that Shikimori’s team is losing, Izumi starts to cheer for her loudly. Watching her boyfriend cheering for her, Shikimori starts to get serious in the game and gains more points. Finally, the match is over and Shikimori’s team wins the match.
After the match, Shikimori and Neko become famous in her school and everyone wants to spend time with her. Suddenly, Inuzuka notices a pacing soccer ball coming right into Izumi’s face, but he pushes him away and gets hit by the ball instead. Shikimori starts to feel jealous watching the two best friends caring for each other, meanwhile her fans love her new angry look.
While walking his way home, Izumi is busy thinking about everything that happened at the school. He is about to fall from the stairs, but as usual, Shikimori saves him. She then complains to him about leaving school alone and spending more time with Inuzuka than with him. Izumi tells her that he was about to wait for her at the school entrance, after which they walk home together.
