“With the warmth and the charm, I guess there’s a little Greta in there,–She was a mix of a few other people I’d met and pulled from.”
Although she revealed that the character wasn’t entirely based on her, Emily Blunt admitted to sprinkling in some of the “warmth and charm”that Gerwig brings with her everywhere.

“We all kind of built her together, because I think, maybe in the original script, she was quite severe, and that sort of tough director,–But I think, for me, it’s always more interesting to play someone who’s in a situation where they’re way over their head.”

To say that I’m disappointed that they are not nominated in their respective categories would be an understatement.”
He continued,
“Against all odds with nothing but a couple of soulless, scantily clad, and thankfully crotchless dolls, they made us laugh, they broke our hearts, they pushed the culture, and they made history. Their work should be recognized along with the other very deserving nominees.”
Ryan Gosling is a die-hard Greta Gerwig fan, much like the rest of the world. While he may strive to move forward fromBarbie, he can never leave behind the warmth and love he received from his fans and co-stars, especially the push from Gerwig that shaped him into the best Ken there ever is.
