Meghan Markle was a remarkable actress before she transitioned into a real-life princess. But before that, she was mostly widely known for her participation as Rachel Zane in the American legal dramaSuits. She was a part of the show for seven seasons, but upon her marriage to Prince Harry, Markle retired from acting.

However, now it seems like she’s aiming for a new career change and is following in the footsteps of talk show host Oprah Winfrey. The said revelations were made by a royal expert, who claims the former actress would ace this role as well.
Meghan Markle Could Be the Next Oprah, Says Royal Insider
Meghan Marklehas been the talk of the town in recent years, all thanks to her andPrince Harry‘s move to sunny California. They’ve been in the United States for four years now after stepping down from their royal duties in 2020. Not only this, but several reports also mentioned how this impacted their entire rapport with the royal family as well.
While the Buckingham royals have mostly been quiet about what’s happening behind the royal corridors, several royal experts have been dishing out some behind-the-scenes information to the public. One such expert was Christopher Anderson, who revealed thatMarklewould soonbe following in the footstepsof famous television personalityOprah Winfrey. He added:

If Meghan doesn’t end up hosting a daytime syndicated talk show, I’ll be surprised. (Further) She certainly seems well-suited to that role in particular, and I can easily see her pursuing a career path similar to Oprah’s in the media: a show, a magazine, producing, directing — the works. She still has a sizeable chunk of the viewing public in her corner.
These reports have been circulating in the media on the grounds that the former actress had recently signed with WME, aka William Morris Endeavor. It’s a global media and entertainment company that represents artists in several different areas. And although not confirmed, she’s all set to launch her own talk show.

On the same, another royal expert, Richard Kay, noted how the former actress was absent from her husband’sSparepromotional tour. He mentioned that this was a deliberate attempt on her part to distance herself from Prince Harry’s event, to keep her brand unaffected.
However, Kay also pointed out that the longer she stays out of the public eye, the more challenging it would be for her to reignite her platform.

Meghan Markle Talks Fondly About Her 3-Year-Old Daughter
Meghan Markle is a proud and loving mother. During the Afro Women and Power event in Cali, Colombia, the former actress talked passionately about her daughter Lilibet. Further, adding that helping her find her voice was at the top of her priority list, justas her mother, Doria Ragland, had done for her.
She also expressed how being surrounded by strong women in her life played a huge role in her journey.Markle added:

I find inspiration in so many of the strong women that are around me, of course, my mother being one of them. So much of how I approach things is through the lens of less about the fight — that’s not interesting to me — and more about how do we show up in a space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.
Meghan Markle was also joined at the event by Colombia’s Vice President, Francia Márquez, who had invited the couple to the country. Speaking briefly in Spanish, she thanked Colombia for its warm welcome, saying,“Because we are in your country, my husband and I can feel this embrace from Colombia — it’s incredible.”
