Using The Skull Shaker

Despite its power, the Skull Shaker only takes up a few slots in your inventory. Early into the game, inventory management can be difficult, especially with shotguns such as the W-870, and theSkull Shaker is on par in terms of power and takes up much fewer slots. The Skull Shaker is a sawed-off shotgun, meaning it has a very widespread for each shot that deals incredible damage at a close range. This weapon excels the closer enemies are to the player and will often instantly finish an enemy. While each shot is powerful, this weapondoes only start off with a small two-shot magazinebefore needing to be reloaded.

This weapon does break the usual mold of growing your arsenal and can be obtained as early as you’d like. It can beupgraded like other weapons in the game, and anincrease in magazine size can quickly fix the biggest issue holding it back. Continued power upgrades can keep this weapon incredibly powerful compared to others, but it will always be at its best in close-range combat. Some of the later-game shotguns will eventually outpace this one in terms of overall use, butthis Shotgun is well worth the purchase for early-game usage.
