While the handgun is Leon’s savior in the initial stages ofResident Evil 4 Remake, it can not do the job as efficiently as some other pistols in the game, such as the Killer7. With the rise in difficulty level as the game progresses and with new enemy types, it is quite crucial for players to evolve their arsenal along the way.

The game isn’t quite lenient when it comes to giving players ammo, so relying on one good gun is never a good idea. Moreover, with some really tough boss fights towards the latter half of the game, it is quite crucial to make the most of whatever the game offers to players.
How To Get Killer7
The Killer7 belongs to the Magnum class in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Magnums are essentially handguns but they are much more powerful, making them more useful than the regular handgun in the later stages of the game. There are a total of three magnums available in the game, Killer7,Broken Butterfly, and Handcannon. While the former two can be unlocked in the first playthrough itself, the Handcannon could earlier be unlocked by only completing the game on Professional mode without bonus weapons, before a recent update made the task much easier.
To unlock the Killer7, players need to wait until the endgame, as it cannot be unlocked before Chapter 13. Once players reachChapter 13, they can head to the merchant the unlock the gun for77,700 Pesetas. Unlike the Broken Butterfly, there is no first-time discount for buying this gun. However,by using charms, the price can be reduced by 10% and players can obtain it for around 70k Pesetas.

The Killer7 is a really solid gun, overpowering the likes of the Broken Butterfly due to its much more well-rounded nature. Additionally, the presence of a laser sight makes the gun even more lucrative and would remind players of the original classic. Not to forget, it significantly improves the accuracy at close range as well, which is quite a crucial attribute later on in the game as well as for New Game Plus.
