Kazuya has already been going through a lot lately, and now, the situation with Ruka has made his life even harder. On top of that, as he tries to get out of the mess by spilling the truth about his relationship with Chizuru, another bomb drops on him as he discovers Chizuru’s grandmother doesn’t have much time left. So, now he has to keep up the charade of being in a relationship with her for a little longer. But, as there are only two episodes left in the current season, fans can expect something really unexpected to happen, which might make things work out for both Chizuru and Kazuya.

Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2 Episode 10 Recap
In the previous episode of Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2, Kazuya is unable to forget his kiss with Ruka, and a part of Kazuya blames himself for the situation while he remembers all his past incidents with her. Suddenly, Kazuya’s grandmother shocks everyone when she takes out her family ring and offers it to Chizuru. Although Chizuru herself denies taking the ring, Kazuya decides to reveal the truth about his relationship with her as he doesn’t want Ruka to be hurt anymore.
But, as he is about to tell the truth, Chizuru’s phone rings, and she is immediately called to the hospital. Everyone except Ruka visits the hospital, where her grandmother seems completely fine. But then the doctor talks to Chizuru separately and tells her that her grandmother’s days are numbered.
When Kazuya gets to know about the truth, he tries to comfort Chizuru, but she says that she has been bracing for this day for a long time. Kazuya doesn’t want her grandmother to live a lie and decides to tell her the truth. But Chizuru stops him and says she wants her grandmother to die happily.
After leaving the hospital, Kazuya’s grandmother hands over the ring to Chizuru and says she can pawn it if she is ever in need of money. The next day, Ruka and Kazuya meet, and she asks about Chizuru’s grandmother’s condition. Given the situation he and Chizuru are going through, Ruka calls a truce with them.
