Every World Explained
Each world in Remnant 2 isheavily influenced by randomization, but themajor designs and enemies of each world will stay the same. For those wanting to get a preview of a world before jumping in and fighting your way through, here’s a brief breakdown of what each world is like.
Explanation
Losomn is made up of two very different areas. One is anold gothic-style citywhose inhabitants have lost their minds and will try tokill any outsider with spears, swords, and muskets. The other half of Losomn is anethereal and ornate castle full ofangel-like creatureswith wings.
Yaesha is a dense jungle full of wooden structures lining the trees androot-infused creatures stalking in the bushes.Hidden throughout the jungle areold ruins to be traversed, filled withinfected members of the Pan, Yaesha’s indigenous population.

N’Erudis afuturistic civilization with technology well beyond anything elseseen in the game. Thesurface of N’Erud is not much beyond a desert, with a few structures scattered about. A lot of theold robots have survived the root and will be the usual enemiesof this world.
The Labyrinth
The Labyrinth is just that, atwisting path in the world between worlds. The enemies andeven bossesof this worldare the stones of the Labyrinth themselves, coming to life to stop any intruders trying to find the exit.
Root Earth
Root Earth is thefinal world of the gameand thecenter for the Root infestation throughout all worlds. This world is the most infected with the root, housing thestrongest Root-powered enemies in the game.
What’s Randomized, What’s Not
When players first travel within the red crystal near the beginning of the game, they’ll beteleported to one of the three main worlds,Losomn,Yaesha, orN’Erud. To progress, you’ll need to finish the main mission of that world. After completing your first world, you’llimmediately be teleported to theLabyrinth as your second world. This is not randomized, and theLabyrinth will always be completed as your second world.
Aftercompleting the Labyrinth, you’ll learn of your main mission in the other two worlds andget access to both of them simultaneously. You cantravel to and between the remaining two worlds to complete them in any order. After completing the main missions on the first four worlds,Root Earth will become available as the final world in the game.

Each world will have itslayout randomized, withsmall areas within tied to the story and not randomized. The layout of the map won’t change every time you return, asa playthrough’s progress and map are saved. Should youreroll your campaign, theworlds and order you access them will be randomized.
