Some of the most charming gods demonstrate more benevolent qualities than one might expect. While others gain appeal through sheer pluckiness and audacious attitude. Their scrappy personalities and refusal to back down make them easy to root for.

Hermes is a God from the Greek mythology. Right from his introduction, Hermes establishes himself as aloof, sly, and charismatic, with a somewhat gentlemanly aura. And during battles, it is Hermes who appears to have the deepest understanding of what’s unfolding or who is likely to change the course of events.

Unlike the other arrogant gods who look down on humanity, Hermes seems to take genuine joy in his role. He praises their efforts during thebrutal fights. However, this doesn’t mean he believes humans and gods are on an equal footing.

The Greek god of war, Ares is depicted as a hot-headed and aggressive character with exaggerated muscles. However, he’s also proven to be one of the most likable Gods in Ragnarok. He brings welcome comic relief and humanity to the divine side of the tournament.

Ares also seems sympathetic to the human fighters. However, above all, his reactions to the battle are everything! His shock, awe, and even fear during the battles make him seem more human and accessible compared to the other gods.

As one of the most powerful Hindu deities, known as The Destroyer within the Trimurti, along with Brahma and Vishnu, Shiva lives up to this epithet in the tournament to decide humanity’s fate. In the anime and manga, Shiva is portrayed as a four-armed deity, having a competitive spirit.

His dance of destruction presents a formidable challenge to his opponents. He has also managed to win against over a hundred Hindu pantheon Gods in just fistfights. In a tournament filled with brash talkers, Shiva lets his actions speak for themselves.

The Allfather in Norse mythology, Odin is a god of wisdom, war, and death. His strategic mind and mysterious powers make him a significant character in Record of Ragnarok. Odin’s design also stands out, featuring his iconic eyepatch, long black beard, and robes.

He also doesn’t bother speaking and lets his birds take care of it. Yet he still radiates an imposing aura of authority. In Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part, it was also apparent thatOdin wants to destroy humankindmore than anybody, and he may be plotting something in secret.

Poseidon is sometimes, out of respect, referred to as the ‘God Of The Gods’ for embodying everything a god is supposed to represent. Poseidon may be stern and uncompromising, but he has a strong sense of purpose and duty as a god.

He is the King of Seas, and his trident is capable of creating powerfulwater-based attacks.In Record of Ragnarok, Poseidon faces off against Sasaki Kojiro, a famous Japanese swordsman, in a battle to the death.

Zeus is the brother of Poseidon. He looks old and frail, but his muscles are considered the strongest in the universe. As the ruler of Mount Olympus and the king of the Greek pantheon, Zeus commands respect and authority among both gods and humans alike.

His eccentric personality, playful demeanor, and unyielding confidence make him a character that’s hard to ignore. He’s a god who enjoys a good fight, and his love for combat is infectious, making every scene he’s in charge with potential forexplosive action.

Heracles has a strong sense of warrior honor and fairness. Before his fight with Jack the Ripper, Heracles proposes they have an honorable match. Despite being grievously injured and mutilated in the battle, Heracles refused to admit defeat.

While all of this is admirable, Heracles actually battled against humans to persuade the Gods to reconsider their views on mankind. Even in his dying moments, Heracles reached out and embraced his opponent, choosing to see beyond their sins. This gesture was so heart-rending that humanity stood up, wept, and flung stones at Jack The Ripper in protest against Heracles' killing.

Buddha and Heracles both express their love for humanity in unique ways. However, Buddha ranks higher on this list becausehe chose to represent Humanityin the 6th round of Ragnarok. This decision could potentially make him a target in Valhalla, but he isn’t concerned, even going so far as to challenge Zeus if he had a problem with it.

Buddha has stated that if no one else will save Humanity, he will. He also taught Brunhilde about Volundr, a process where a Valkyrie transforms herself into a weapon. Thanks to Buddha, both Gods and Humans can participate fairly in the tournament.

Hades is the Kind of Helheim – the underworld. He is also the brother of Zeus alongside Poseidon. He speaks calmly and logically, seeing the bigger picture rather than allowing ego or petty grudges to motivate him.

This is why he is the representative of the Gods in the seventh round of Ragnarok. Brunhilde During his battle with the human fighter Qin Shi Huang, Hades reflects philosophically on how war brings out both the best and worst in humanity.
