PS5 does not even come close when talking about some of the highest-selling consoles in the market. Even Nintendo fails to secure the top spot in the list of best-selling consoles ever.

You will be surprised to know the console still stands strong as one of the most successful consoles even 2 decades after its release. Every other does not even come close to the successful run of it.
PS5 Fails To Secure A Place In The Top 10
According to a list of the top 10 consoles shared by Culture Crave on Twitter, PlayStation 2 secures the No. 1 position with 160 million units sold to date, which is truly a commendable feat. In second position, we have the Nintendo DS with 154 million units sold, followed by the Nintendo Switch with 146 million units sold. PlayStation 4 sits in fifth place with 117.2 million units sold.
It is clear that in recent times the sales of PlayStation seem to have been going down whereas Nintendo is rising gradually. Given that the best-selling console to date is the PS2, it is fair to say that the battle between Nintendo and PlayStation is a close one.
