Pokemon Infinite Fusion is a newerPokemon fan game, similar toPokemon Opalo, that features some unique aspects and some large departures from the mainline series. While it certainly comes with some much-needed upgrades, the game doesn’t always do the best job of directing you forward.
Hopefully, this guide will provide you with all the help you need to navigate your journey to becoming a Pokemon champion. If you’re no stranger to classic Pokemon titles like FireRed, then the story should be mostly familiar to you, but I’d still advise you to check out this guide for some tips and tricks on beating the gyms and story, since the fusions make it significantly more interesting and difficult.

Pokemon TCG Pocket: How To Build An Elite Deck
With powerful cards like Celebi EX, Palkia EX, and Mewtwo EX, you’ve got the makings of some elite decks in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
This particular Pokemon fan game gives players the ability to fuse any two Pokemon together to form some incredibly interesting combinations, along with some that should probably never see the light of day.

You’ll notice this isn’t referred to asROM hack, and that’s because it isn’t. It is a game made from the ground up based around previous Pokemon titles, so it’s like playing an entirely new Pokemon game. Let’s take a look at how to get your hands on it and how everything works.
If you want to play Pokemon Infinite Fusion, you’ll need to be very careful about where you download the game, as there isno official website for it.

I personally used theRedditlink to download it by going to the useful links section and selecting the Installation Guides.
This will take you to Google docs where you’ll follow the instructions for your platform.

There’s virtually no platform the game can’t be played on and, luckily, all of them will let you use a controller if you’d prefer that option over a keyboard. Just download your preferred version and follow the instructions.
In no time flat, you should be presented with the opening sequence of the game to begin your new Pokemon journey.

Every Fox Pokemon, Ranked
Who wouldn’t want a Fox for a pet? This also goes for Pokemon. But these Pokemon aren’t just cute, they’ll burn you to cinders too!
Unique Features Of Pokemon Infinite Fusion
The New Story Beats Of Pokemon Infinite Fusion
Most of the story is very reminiscent of the original games and follows the plot fairly closely, with some departures at significant moments. While you’re still up against Giovanni and Team Rocket, the stakes set during the adventure are a bit different.
Your goal is not only to become Pokemon Champion, but also to stop Team Rocket from acquiring the three Legendary birds and fusing them together.
Along the way, you’ll have a lot to do, and can even join Team Rocket to do some missions if you’re feeling up to it. Each town holds its own little story to explore, so verify you take your time while traveling.
Starting The Game
Once you boot up the game and get started, you’ll be presented with a choice of three game modes. If this is your first playthrough, I’d recommend just going with Classic while you get yourself adjusted to the new changes.
Following this, you’ll be prompted to select a difficulty, each of which will have its own sort of rules.
Pick whichever one suits your fancy. You can always change this at any given time in the settings menu. I highly recommend checking out the settings, as there are quite a few options in there to make the game a bit easier.
From things like turning running on permanently to changing the actual speed the game runs at, there are a lot of quality of life improvements hiding here.
You’ll certainly want to adjust the speed of the game to your liking. I’d recommend setting always run on and easy Surf as well, because it’ll save time later.
If you’re looking for a faster-paced experience, turn off battle fx and, once you start the game, press either Q or LB on your input device and your game should be sped up by the amount in the settings.
You can cycle through the speed by pressing the button multiple times, so if it’s too fast you can always slow it back down.
Pallet Town
Pokemon Infinite Fusion starts off just as the original game does, in Pallet Town. You’ll acquire your first Pokemon from Professor Oak, and then you should head over to your rival’s house so you may grab that Town Map from their sister and head out on your journey.
Once you get to Viridian City and talk to the Poke Mart people, you’ll be given your first DNA splicer.
These are the crux of the entire game. They give you the ability to fuse and unfuse different Pokemon. While there aren’t any restrictions on what you may fuse, do keep in mind that the fusions end up as a mixture between the two for both stats, abilities, and level.
This means combining a higher-level Pokemon with one of a lower level will result in the fusion having a level in between the two. Fused Pokemon also evolve separately, so when your Pokemon hit a level where they can evolve, you’ll only be able to evolve half of it at a time.
At the beginning, you’ll struggle to purchase as many DNA Splicers as you want, but this can be easily remedied by going around and talking to NPCs to see who may have a quest for you.
How Pokemon Fusing Works
There are over 250,000 variations of fusions for you to try outand, while it’s impossible to see them all in one go, the game gives you a lot of options to keep you playing.
When you fuse Pokemon together, a few things will happen. First, you’ll need to choose which one becomes the head and which one becomes the body of the fusion. The body will make up the physical stats (Atk, Def, Spe) and the head will make up the special stats (HP, Sp.A, Sp.D).You’ll also have to choose which of the two fused Pokemons' natures to keep, as well as the Ability and move set.
Each type sports some fantastic Pokemon, and when you combine two of them together, things get even more potentially powerful.
EVs and IVs will be averaged out unless using a Super Splicer, which will instead make the IVs used the higher of the two options.
10 Weak Pokemon With Insane Potential
Ever wanted to use some new Pokemon instead of the usual favourites? These weak Pokemon have insane potential to carry you through the game and beyond
Pewter City
Brock’s gym is pretty straightforward: walk in, pick a side and head towards the back. This is where things will start to get weird, though. Instead of the usual gameplay where you just challenge him, you’ll instead be limited to only using two Pokemon. This will be a running theme as you progress through each gym, so you’ll want to select your best Pokemon for the situation.
This should be fairly easy if you’ve got a Squirtle or Bulbasaur, but snagging an additional Grass type on your way through the forest will certainly pay off here.
Rock/Flying
Ground/Rock
Once you’re finished with Brock, you’ll have your first Gym Badge, the ability to use Flash outside combat, and my personal pick for the greatest hat of all time, the “Drying Pan”.
You’ll need to actually get your hands on the Flash TM first if you want to have an easier time with the next leg of your journey. Luckily, it’s incredibly close by. You’ll be heading to Mt. Moon and on your way out of the city you’ll pass by a hotel.
Go inside and head straight upstairs. You’ll run into a scientist who will give you a Quest Journal (helpful for tracking side quests) and the HM for Flash.
There’s a bit of commotion outside Mt. Moon and you’ll need to talk to Nurse Jenny in order to progress the story. Once you speak to her, Brock will show up and offer to help out the Geodude while you investigate Mt. Moon.
Head inside and immediately turn right, then make your first left. After that, head back outside to Brock, who will give you TM94 for Rock Smash, which you’ll need to get through the rest of Mt. Moon.
If you don’t want to deal with a ton of wild battles, head back and load up on some repel because this will be a long journey.
You’ll want to head the way you saw the Team Rocket Grunt go, so you’ll head northward and follow the path. Doing some exploration will net you some choice items, like the TM for Thief.
You’ll eventually come across Team Rocket, and once you win the fight you’ll have a choice between the Dome and Helix fossils.
Cerulean City
My best piece of advice here is to head straight for the gym or try to upgrade your party some. The gym is straightforward, and you’ll need to fight at least one Trainer before Misty.
If you’ve got that Grass type from earlier, you should be able to get by Misty with some ease, but having an Awakening or Paralyze Heal will help you to deal with her party’s Sing and Stun Spore attacks.
Jigglydeen
Normal/Water
Grass/Water
Once you beat her, you’ll want to head north, because you’ve got a brand-new rival battle on your hands. This will take place just before the Nugget Bridge, which you’ll need to navigate anyway for the next leg of your journey.
Rival Battle
This battle gave me some trouble at first, but after gathering some much-needed money I was able to push through with the help of some items. All you really need to do is get through the first three Pokemon, since his Abra only knows Teleport at this point.
Poison/Flying
Fighting/Normal
Fire/Poison
The third Pokemon will always be a fusion between starters, and will change based on the starter you choose.
Once you beat your rival, you’ll need to complete Nugget Bridge, which then provides you with the ability to start working for Team Rocket.you may do this without any impact on the story, as it’s more for some fun side quests.
You’ll receive a uniform and a starter quest upon agreeing to join. Continue to follow the path after the bridge until you come to a building. Help out the Pokemon man, andhe’ll give you the S.S. Ticket you need for the next leg of your journey.
Vermilion City
You’ll need to head to the docks and board the S.S. Anne if you’re hoping to take on Lt. Surge here, since you’ll need the HM for Cut. Head up the stairs and outside onto the deck.
Make your way to the back of the ship where you’ll find the Captain’s Key to get into the Captain’s Quarters. You’ll need to deal with your rival again and his team has changed a bit, so be ready.
Water/Psychic
Gym Battle
Since all of Lt. Surge’s Pokemon are Electric types, your best bet is to use a Grass and Ground type.I fought my way through with a double Diglett fusion, since Voltby isn’t very strong and Diglett’s Ground typing lets it negate Electric attacks with ease.
Electric/Water
Electric/Ground
After beating him, you’ll get the HM for Teleport so you can easily travel between towns.
If you head south from Pewter and cut down the small tree by the entrance to Virdian Forest, follow that path. You’ll come across a house with a bunch of trees behind it. Speak to the man and cut down all the trees, and he’ll give you shears so you won’t need to have a Pokemon with Cut going forward.
