A newPokemon GOCommunity Day Event will soon be live, this month’s Community Day will give players the chance to grab a shiny Tepig. The frequency in which Tepig’s spawn will be much higher during the six hour event.
Of course, with Tepig taking the spotlight this month, players will also be able to evolve the Pokemon to it’s final evolution, Emboar, which now has an exclusive move.
Shiny Tepig & Family Details
Shiny Tepig will make it’s debut inPokemon GOfor the very first time when the event begins on July 3. This will be the perfect opportunity to grab a Shiny Tepig as the spawn frequency of the Pokemon will be increased.
Visually, a Shiny Tepig swaps out the orange and black colour palette for a yellow and brown palette, featuring a pink tail. When a Shiny Tepig is evolved to its final evolution of Emboar, the colour scheme will feature blue flames as opposed to the normal orange and yellow.
If players evolve Tepig to Emboar during the event, the evolved Pokemon will have an exclusive “blast burn” move. Tepig can also be evolved to Emboar up to two hours after the Community Day event.
Tepig Community Day Features
The Tepig Community Day Event will kick off on July 3rd, 2021. As all Community Day Events do, players can expect it to begin at 11 AM local time until 5 PM local time. This means players will have six hours to grab a shiny Tepig.
As well as the opportunity to get a Shiny Tepig, players will also be able to evolve Pignite during, or two hours after, the event. Evolve Pignite to get an Emboard that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
A special one-time-purchase Community Day Box will also be available to players for 1,280 PokeCoins. The purchase will give players 50 Ultra Balls, Five Incense, Five Star Pieces, and an Elite Charged TM.
Incense and Lure Modules that are activated during the event will also last for three hours and players will earn triple Stardust during the event window.
